BACKGROUND
The Ke Ola Hou Resiliency Center has been established to support the community of Lahaina in the aftermath of the devastating fires. I worked with Ke Ola Hou’s Project Manager, Shane Presswood, and their team to build a new brand, social media presence, and responsive website in time for their grand opening.
BUSINESS GOAL
Create an appealing logo to represent the community of Lahaina and expand it into a brand for use across print and digital products. After branding, redesign a website with mobile viewing capabilities to connect with community service leaders and the families who can benefit from it. The website needs to include Ke Ola Hou’s team members, board of directors, sponsors, a calendar of events, a resource library for services, and a booking system for reservations.
OUTCOMES
Designed the official Ke Ola Hou logo, created a letterhead with the Ke Ola Hou to maintain brand consistency across all mediums, and redesigned a mobile friendly website to provide an optimized UI/UX online presence for the Lahaina community.
